FOR EDUCATORS AND COUNSELORS

The LearnDoEarn website offers professional development for teachers and counselors via webinar technology. Webinars are Internet-assisted teleconferences. Participants call into a teleconference bridge while logging on to a conference website. Therefore, participants need access to a computer with Internet access and a telephone at the same time. The teleconference connection permits verbal interaction; the website provides access to the presentation and other visuals.

The number of participating sites is limited to no more than 15 per webinar. Available slots are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each webinar lasts approximately one hour, including questions and answers.

While the number of sites is limited, if the computer is connected to a projector with a screen and the telephone being used has a speaker phone, an unlimited number of participants can attend the sessions at any one site, making the LearnDoEarn webinars a tremendous value. While there are no fees for educators to attend the LearnDoEarn professional development sessions, long distance calling charges may apply.

Series A takes you through the front door; you will see, review and discuss all the materials that are in the ‘front seat’ – free and open to the public and available to you, your students and their parents, thanks to support from the business community.

Series B takes you through the back door and gets you into the Central Office and Faculty Room, two password-protected areas that have additional resources for educators.

Passwords to the Central Office will be provided to all educators who participate in any of the webinars.
