DO NOTHING AND HELP EVERYONE

How would you like to help find a cure for cancer?  You can by doing nothing.  That’s right.  When you aren’t working on your computer, your unused computation power can be harnessed by the World Community Grid to form a “super computer.”  When installed on your computer or server, the World Community Grid’s secure software pulls small pieces of data from their server and has the computers in schools, offices or homes perform computations.  The critical information processed on your computer is sent back to the World Community Grid server, where it is merged with those performed on other computers, which accelerates the pace of research in humanitarian projects such as cancer research.

The software is safe and secure and does not expose your computer or server to viruses nor does it allow access to data on any of your machines.  Participating in the World Community Grid project can help scientists find cures for deadly diseases and make strides in research that will have a positive impact on humanity.  You can do your part by signing up today.

Join the LearnDoEarn team on the World Community Grid--it takes just a few minutes. Click here to go to the home page. Once there:

• Click Become a Member
• Fill in all of the required boxes
• Under the Country drop down box, click the Select a Team button
• Type in LearnDoEarn
• Click the Select button next to LearnDoEarn
• Click the box to accept the end user agreement and click the Continue button
• The system automatically detects the download that works best with your computer.
• Click Continue
• The system will give you a pop up box to download or run the software to install for the WCG.
• Follow the online instructions.
