There are eight School Counts Credentials that students can earn. courses than required for graduation and avoid study halls. |

There are four annual School Counts credentials -- one for each year of
high school. If you earn all four of the annual credentials, you will be eligible for the
School Counts Graduate Credential.
The School Counts Credential includes two important messages -- one to you
congratulating you on your attitude and work ethic, and one to employers. The
credential tells employers that YOU are the person with the attitude and work ethic
they want. Take the School Counts Credential with you when you go on a job interview
(either a part-time job during school or a full-time job after graduation), show your
potential employer the School Counts Credential. The credential will tell the world that you have the skills employers want!
Example of High School Credential

The School Counts program wants to reward students at an early age for their academic performance and behavior. Credentials are available for students in kindergarten through eighth grade each year that they meet the two criteria of the program for this level.
Students who achieve these standards will receive the appropriate certificate (elementary or middle school) for each year they meet the criteria.
