Employers:  Provide our resources to your employees.
Help them learn what will make their children successful.

Step 1: Learn

…more about how LearnDoEarn can impact the lives of your employees and their children, or students in local schools. The LearnDoEarn student presentations, which are part of the LearnDoEarn Materials Kits, help middle and high school students understand why they will need to build academic momentum, develop professional-level work ethic, and become financially literate. LearnDoEarn website activities can help students achieve computer proficiency, and be able to do
the math.

LearnDoEarn will also help you build your future workforce. Employers all over the country report that they cannot find workers who have the skills to fill available jobs, and the lack of qualified workers is restricting their ability to expand their business. In fact, workforce quality has been and remains among employer's top three concerns.

The reason for this is clearly defined in the research. Whether at the high school or college level, the greater majority of students are not pushing themselves academically. And they graduate without a sense of timeliness and work ethic, either. That’s where LearnDoEarn comes in. LearnDoEarn begins its message of high expectations for students as early as grade six so students can start early to prepare for college, work, and life.

You can support your employees in their quest for better lives for their children and create better schools in your community with LearnDoEarn.

Step 2: Do

…any of several things to help spread the message in your community.

First, support our work. The only way we can bring LearnDoEarn to students, parents and teachers for free is through tax-deductible contributions to the program.

Second, make sure your local school district uses the LearnDoEarn program as well. Do you have employees who work with students? Use the LearnDoEarn program in your mentor programs if your employees work with teens.

Finally, follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get LearnDoEarn updates.

Step 3: Earn

…our thanks and that of your employees as the message of high expectations permeates your community and your local middle and high schools. In an era in which teenagers and young adults do less and expect more, this consistent message from the business community to students across the country is changing the way students think and behave. And, not so coincidentally, the messages delivered to students by business people reinforce what teachers tell them every day.
