IT STARTS NOW
Competition for a good job starts in middle school and continues through high school. Whether you are planning to go to college or to the workplace, the decisions you make now will affect your ability to compete for college placements and for good jobs. Decisions about what courses you complete in high school, how hard you work, whether you do homework or not, and what grades you earn will all play a big role in your future success.
Our virtual business people are here to tell you how to prepare for a successful future and you can see what they have to say in the presentations below. Your teacher may have directed you to this part of the website to do one or more of these presentation modules or you may be here on your own. Each module is self-guided. Read them at your own pace and feel free to move forward and backward within the presentation.
At the end of each presentation module, there is an assignment that your teacher may have asked you to complete and hand in. Make sure you do the best you can, because representatives of the business community have asked teachers to grade and count the assignments. If you are browsing these presentations on your own, you might want to complete the assignment and give it to your teacher and ask for extra credit.
