Zane values education and learning above all. He takes a full complement of AP/IB courses for the love of learning. Zane has a strong commitment to social justice and what he describes as "the unfairness of the world." He will fight for what he believes is right regardless of where it places him on the popularity scale.

If asked about his heroes, Zane will tell you they are Thomas Jefferson and Leonardo Da Vinci because of their eclectic interests. They were men of science, art and humanity, much like Zane.
