Tarun Pondicherry
Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies

Tarun currently holds the highest GPA ever at the Academy for Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technologies in Edison - 5.22, which was achieved while enrolled in the most rigorous program of studies.

Tarun has a commitment to both school and community extra curricular activities and was selected to attend New Jersey Boys State and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab in 2006. He is a member of the science and math league competition teams, chess club, Mock Trial and Model UN teams, the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Tarun is also a peer mediator, treasurer of his class council and a leader of the school's state champion robotics team.
