Grants
Pell Grants: The federal government can provide money for college that does NOT EVER need to be repaid. It’s a gift from American taxpayers to students who cannot afford to continue their education on their own. Students can get about $4,000 per year for tuition.
Stafford Loans: The federal government will loan students money to pay tuition costs. Payments don’t start until AFTER students graduate and are working. Most student loans can be repaid over a period of ten years.
